For Christmas I want to give my friend who is a HUGE pet lover the perfect gift but don’t want to spend too much. I was browsing around and happened to go to the site Healthypets.com. Once on the site I was able to find a ton of cool gifts including Dogopoly and the cutest CD for dog’s to listen to when relaxing or going for a car ride. The cd’s, DogGone Songs Traveling Tunes and DogGone Songs Soothe the Animal Spirit, where the perfect way to get my friend and her pet something they could both enjoy. while doing so I found great gift ideas for friends who were cat lovers. The site had sweet books like “60 Uses for Your Cat- Cat Skills Uncovered!” and “For the Love of Kittens- Caring Thoughts”. The site also had great pet gift ideas; while shopping for my friends I was also able to pick up great stocking stuffers for their cat’s and dog’s like Zanies Holiday Stocking with Mice and Holiday Squeaky Vinyl Bone for the dogs.

The holidays are right around the corner! This year, I’m getting started early. Going to buy gifts for everyone including my dog and cat! After all, they are part of the family too. What a better compliment to your pet’s costume than some spook-tacular toys and treats! Thanks to a cool post someone wrote about pet costumes I went to Healthypets.com and not only found the cutest dog costume but some great toys and treats to help include my pet in on the Halloween fun. One toy I immediately fell in love with was the Bungee Pumpkin. This dog toy is so cute! The toy makes the cutest noise, my dog loves it! I was worried about my pet being around all the candy and food hazardous to her health so I decided to buy these amazing dog Halloween treats called Halloween Munchies. They’re great because they come in a handy 12 pack and will allow me to give my dog the food she should be having instead of ones she shouldn’t. I can’t believe how quickly the seasons change and the leaves turn color. Summer went by so fast and Halloween is just a couple of weeks away! Last year, when out trick or treating with my kids, we saw lots of dogs joining in on the Halloween festivities. Some people dressed their dogs up in the funniest Halloween costumes! Hot diggity dog costumes, Dogzilla Costumes, Mighty Mutts, Pirate pups and more! My kids got a kick out of it, so this year we are going to dress our dogs up as well. After all they are a part of the family and letting them join in on the festivities is a part of the fun. Hopefully I can order the costumes in time. Colder weather means joint problems are at its worst.Now that it’s getting colder my dog’s joint problems are bothering him more. The other day I was looking for a dog toy to give my pet, Bunny, for her birthday but I couldn’t find anything. I searched several sites and found the same old toys in the same old colors. One of the best toys out there for dogs is KONG Toys. My dog, Bunny LOVES these dog toys and I mean loves! KONGS are great because they’re bouncy, ideal for a game of fetch and can make any dog ready to play. They toy is ideal for keeping any dog busy. I find that the KONG Wubba works perfectly for entertaining my dog. One thing I like to do with the KONG toy is place her favorite treat(s) in the hollowed center; Bunny goes to town trying to get it. I bought a few varieties of KONGs; one that really works for oral health is the Dental KONG. The Dental KONG is cool because it holds treats and the groves on the outside help to “squeegee clean” my dogs’ teeth. Highly recommended!
